The keffiyeh also in the middle east reign known as hattah,  kufyia ghutrah, or shemagh, is a Palestine traditional headdress worn by everyone from parts of the Middle East. It is fashioned from a square scarf, and is usually made of polyester and cotton. The keffiyeh protects from rain, sunburn, dust, and sand. Also head cord, agal, is often used by Arabs to keep the keffiyeh in place.
